And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son, who dwelled in Sodom, and his goods, and departed.

And the young men that were grown up with him spoke to him, saying, Thus shall you speak to this people that spoke to you, saying, Your father made our yoke heavy, but make you it lighter to us; thus shall you say to them, My little finger shall be thicker than my father's loins.

But he forsook the counsel of the old men, which they had given him, and consulted with the young men that were grown up with him, and which stood before him:

And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Should you help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath on you from before the LORD.

Why he did evil in the sight of the LORD like the house of Ahab: for they were his counsellors after the death of his father to his destruction.

I am a companion of all them that fear you, and of them that keep your precepts.

The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil.

Go from the presence of a foolish man, when you perceive not in him the lips of knowledge.

The ear that hears the reproof of life stays among the wise.

Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man you shall not go:

Lest you learn his ways, and get a snare to your soul.

Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.

Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.

Then they that feared the LORD spoke often one to another: and the LORD listened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought on his name.

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

And let us consider one another to provoke to love and to good works:

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.
