She cries in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she utters her words, saying,
Wisdom cries without; she utters her voice in the streets:
How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
Does not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?
She cries at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.
She has sent forth her maidens: she cries on the highest places of the city,
What I tell you in darkness, that speak you in light: and what you hear in the ear, that preach you on the housetops.
And great multitudes were gathered together to him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.
Jesus answered him, I spoke openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, where the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.
Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.
