Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, you, and your fellows that sit before you: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, your King comes to you: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding on an ass, and on a colt the foal of an ass.

Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit on him, and he shall show judgment to the Gentiles.

Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered to, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

And he answered and told them, Elias truly comes first, and restores all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nothing.

For whether is greater, he that sits at meat, or he that serves? is not he that sits at meat? but I am among you as he that serves.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelled among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached you fell on me.

Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers:

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might be rich.

But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Looking to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
