I am come into my garden, my sister, my spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk: eat, O friends; drink, yes, drink abundantly, O beloved.

And you now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man takes from you.

Till now have you asked nothing in my name: ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full.

As also you have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as you also are our's in the day of the Lord Jesus.

For we commend not ourselves again to you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that you may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.

For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spoke all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a truth.

Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.

Nevertheless God, that comforts those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;

But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me has flourished again; wherein you were also careful, but you lacked opportunity.

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
