And wherever he takes him, he tears him: and he foams, and gnashes with his teeth, and pines away: and I spoke to your disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.

He tears me in his wrath, who hates me: he gnashes on me with his teeth; my enemy sharpens his eyes on me.

The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried to him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, you son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

And I brought him to your disciples, and they could not cure him.

He answers him, and said, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him to me.

And they brought him to him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.

And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; so that many said, He is dead.

When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
