And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

And said, Till now shall you come, but no further: and here shall your proud waves be stayed?

He makes the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

Fire, and hail; snow, and vapors; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

The LORD sits on the flood; yes, the LORD sits King for ever.

Which stills the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.

You rule the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, you still them.

But lift you up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the middle of the sea.

And the children of Israel went into the middle of the sea on the dry ground: and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand, and on their left.

When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

Fear you not me? said the LORD: will you not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?

For the LORD will not cast off for ever:

He rebukes the sea, and makes it dry, and dries up all the rivers: Bashan languishes, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languishes.

And he said to them, Why are you fearful, O you of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say to him, Master, care you not that we perish?

When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying to him, You dumb and deaf spirit, I charge you, come out of him, and enter no more into him.

And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold your peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the middle, he came out of him, and hurt him not.

And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered to them.

And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.
