But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.

Jesus said to him, Truly I say to you, That this night, before the cock crow, you shall deny me thrice.

And Jesus said to him, Truly I say to you, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, you shall deny me thrice.

But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what you say. And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew.

But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of whom you speak.

And Peter said, Man, I know not what you say. And immediately, while he yet spoke, the cock crew.

And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.

For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world works death.
