For you have the poor always with you; but me you have not always.

And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble you her? she has worked a good work on me.

Little children, yet a little while I am with you. You shall seek me: and as I said to the Jews, Where I go, you cannot come; so now I say to you.

I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asks me, Where go you?

And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to you. Holy Father, keep through your own name those whom you have given me, that they may be one, as we are.

Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command you, saying, You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor, and to your needy, in your land.

For we have great joy and consolation in your love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by you, brother.
