And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as you will.

He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, your will be done.

And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible to you; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what you will.

I delight to do your will, O my God: yes, your law is within my heart.

Then said Jesus to Peter, Put up your sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father has given me, shall I not drink it?

But Jesus answered and said, You know not what you ask. Are you able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say to him, We are able.

I can of my own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which has sent me.

For I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me.

Jesus said to them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

Thus said your Lord the LORD, and your God that pleads the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of your hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; you shall no more drink it again:

And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.

For thus said the LORD God of Israel to me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send you, to drink it.

Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which have drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; you have drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out.

Your kingdom come, Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hid these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them to babes.

Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in your sight.

Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.
