And shall lay you even with the ground, and your children within you; and they shall not leave in you one stone on another; because you knew not the time of your visitation.

Happy shall he be, that takes and dashes your little ones against the stones.

And what will you do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will you flee for help? and where will you leave your glory?

Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.

And Jesus said to them, See you not all these things? truly I say to you, There shall not be left here one stone on another, that shall not be thrown down.

And Jesus answering said to him, See you these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone on another, that shall not be thrown down.

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he has visited and redeemed his people,

Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high has visited us,

Saying, If you had known, even you, at least in this your day, the things which belong to your peace! but now they are hid from your eyes.

As for these things which you behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone on another, that shall not be thrown down.

Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
