When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walks through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he said, I will return to my house from where I came out.

For I will pour water on him that is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground: I will pour my spirit on your seed, and my blessing on your offspring:

There is no peace, said the LORD, to the wicked.

And he sought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.

When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying to him, You dumb and deaf spirit, I charge you, come out of him, and enter no more into him.

And when he comes, he finds it swept and garnished.

Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience:

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:
