You shall offer at your own will a male without blemish, of the beeves, of the sheep, or of the goats.

Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: you shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:

And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish.

Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, If any man of you bring an offering to the LORD, you shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock.

If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.

For whatever man he be that has a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that has a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,

And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.

When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying, Have you nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.

When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see you to it.

Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see you to that.

Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

Said to them, You have brought this man to me, as one that perverts the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof you accuse him:

And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man has done nothing amiss.

Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.

Pilate therefore went forth again, and said to them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that you may know that I find no fault in him.

For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

And if there be any blemish therein, as if it be lame, or blind, or have any ill blemish, you shall not sacrifice it to the LORD your God.

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

For Christ also has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
