Now we know that God hears not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and does his will, him he hears.

And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the middle of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelled.

Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for you, and you shall live: and if you restore her not, know you that you shall surely die, you, and all that are yours.

There they cry, but none gives answer, because of the pride of evil men.

Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.

Therefore take to you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that you have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.

Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.

Teach me to do your will; for you are my God: your spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

He will fulfill the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

They cried, but there was none to save them: even to the LORD, but he answered them not.

I delight to do your will, O my God: yes, your law is within my heart.

Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call on his name; they called on the LORD, and he answered them.

The LORD is far from the wicked: but he hears the prayer of the righteous.

Whoever stops his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.

He that turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

And when you spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you: yes, when you make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

Then shall you call, and the LORD shall answer; you shall cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If you take away from the middle of you the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;

Therefore thus said the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil on them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry to me, I will not listen to them.

When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence.

Then said the LORD to me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.

Therefore will I also deal in fury: my eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.

Then shall they cry to the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.

Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, said the LORD of hosts:

But I know, that even now, whatever you will ask of God, God will give it you.

You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Jesus said to them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

The man answered and said to them, Why herein is a marvelous thing, that you know not from where he is, and yet he has opened my eyes.

Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind.

And you returned and wept before the LORD; but the LORD would not listen to your voice, nor give ear to you.

Then said I, See, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do your will, O God.
