Truly, truly, I say to you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.

What man is he that lives, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.

Truly I say to you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

And it was revealed to him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.

Jesus answered and said to him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our stayed with him.

Remember the word that I said to you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

I have manifested your name to the men which you gave me out of the world: your they were, and you gave them me; and they have kept your word.

Truly, truly, I say to you, He that hears my word, and believes on him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death to life.

This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

Then spoke Jesus again to them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Then said the Jews to him, Now we know that you have a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and you say, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.

Yet you have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like to you: but I know him, and keep his saying.

By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
