But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
But you believe not, because you are not of my sheep, as I said to you.
Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come on him, went forth, and said to them, Whom seek you?
But I know you, that you have not the love of God in you.
But I said to you, That you also have seen me, and believe not.
Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said to them, Does this offend you?
From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
And he said to them, You are from beneath; I am from above: you are of this world; I am not of this world.
Yet you have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like to you: but I know him, and keep his saying.
Known to God are all his works from the beginning of the world.
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knows them that are his. And, Let every one that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened to the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
