And no man has ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

Who has ascended up into heaven, or descended? who has gathered the wind in his fists? who has bound the waters in a garment? who has established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if you can tell?

Teaching them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you: and, see, I am with you always, even to the end of the world. Amen.

And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he said, I came down from heaven?

Not that any man has seen the Father, save he which is of God, he has seen the Father.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

What and if you shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?

Jesus said to them, If God were your Father, you would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he said himself, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit you on my right hand,

Take heed therefore to yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost has made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he has purchased with his own blood.

But the righteousness which is of faith speaks on this wise, Say not in your heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.

Which is his body, the fullness of him that fills all in all.

It is not in heaven, that you should say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it to us, that we may hear it, and do it?
