Jesus answered him, I spoke openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, where the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.

Now about the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.

But, see, he speaks boldly, and they say nothing to him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?

Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, You both know me, and you know from where I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom you know not.

For there is no man that does any thing in secret, and he himself seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, show yourself to the world.

And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came to him; and he sat down, and taught them.

I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.

For the king knows of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner.
