If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done to you.

Delight yourself also in the LORD: and he shall give you the desires of your heart.

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us:

And whatever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

And whatever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

But the anointing which you have received of him stays in you, and you need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it has taught you, you shall abide in him.

Your words were found, and I did eat them; and your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart: for I am called by your name, O LORD God of hosts.

The fear of the wicked, it shall come on him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.

Your word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

Then shall your light break forth as the morning, and your health shall spring forth speedily: and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.

And these words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart:

I have written to you, fathers, because you have known him that is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God stays in you, and you have overcome the wicked one.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

He taught me also, and said to me, Let your heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.

For then shall you have your delight in the Almighty, and shall lift up your face to God.

I know that you are Abraham's seed; but you seek to kill me, because my word has no place in you.

Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give you.

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed;
