Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me.

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you.

Jesus cried and said, He that believes on me, believes not on me, but on him that sent me.

And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which sees the Son, and believes on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Why are you cast down, O my soul? and why are you disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, you may believe that I am he.

Why I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love to all the saints,

Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I to this hour.

That you be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

So that contrariwise you ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.

When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled.

That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honors not the Son honors not the Father which has sent him.

When I would comfort myself against sorrow, my heart is faint in me.

And these things will they do to you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.

But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.

Till now have you asked nothing in my name: ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full.
