And many resorted to him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spoke of this man were true.
And said to his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do show forth themselves in him.
And when they had found him, they said to him, All men seek for you.
In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, so that they stepped one on another, he began to say to his disciples first of all, Beware you of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed on him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,
He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's lace I am not worthy to unloose.
This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
