Nathanael answered and said to him, Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel.

The LORD said to my Lord, Sit you at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.

Yet have I set my king on my holy hill of Zion.

Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, on the throne of David, and on his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from now on even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem to the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and three score and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.

But you, Bethlehem Ephratah, though you be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall he come forth to me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

The LORD has taken away your judgments, he has cast out your enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the middle of you: you shall not see evil any more.

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, your King comes to you: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding on an ass, and on a colt the foal of an ass.

Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth you are the Son of God.

Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

Tell you the daughter of Sion, Behold, your King comes to you, meek, and sitting on an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.

But be not you called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all you are brothers.

And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Are you the King of the Jews? And Jesus said to him, You say.

He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.

And when the tempter came to him, he said, If you be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.

And the angel answered and said to her, The Holy Ghost shall come on you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of you shall be called the Son of God.

Saying, Blessed be the King that comes in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.

No man has seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.

And I saw, and bore record that this is the Son of God.

Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and said to them, What seek you? They said to him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwell you?

Jesus answered and said to him, Because I said to you, I saw you under the fig tree, believe you? you shall see greater things than these.

Pilate therefore said to him, Are you a king then? Jesus answered, You say that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears my voice.

In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.
