And Nathanael said to him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip said to him, Come and see.
Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
And he came and dwelled in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.
Yes, and why even of yourselves judge you not what is right?
Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.
Philip finds Nathanael, and said to him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.
Philip said to him, Lord, show us the Father, and it suffises us.
Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?
When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come to him, he said to Philip, From where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?
Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.
They answered and said to him, Are you also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee rises no prophet.
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
