Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.

Woe to you, Chorazin! woe to you, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

And straightway he constrained his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before to Bethsaida, while he sent away the people.

And he comes to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man to him, and sought him to touch him.

Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,

And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them, and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.

The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and finds Philip, and said to him, Follow me.

Philip finds Nathanael, and said to him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

And Nathanael said to him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip said to him, Come and see.

Nathanael said to him, From where know you me? Jesus answered and said to him, Before that Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.

The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.

Philip comes and tells Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus.

When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come to him, he said to Philip, From where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?

Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.

And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where stayed both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.
