Shall any teach God knowledge? seeing he judges those that are high.

Behold, he puts no trust in his saints; yes, the heavens are not clean in his sight.

For what pleasure has he in his house after him, when the number of his months is cut off in the middle?

Who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth, and makes us wiser than the fowls of heaven?

Behold, God exalts by his power: who teaches like him?

Who has enjoined him his way? or who can say, You have worked iniquity?

Gird up now your loins like a man; for I will demand of you, and answer you me.

Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly:

Shall he that contends with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproves God, let him answer it.

God stands in the congregation of the mighty; he judges among the gods.

If you see the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regards; and there be higher than they.

Woe to him that strives with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashions it, What make you? or your work, He has no hands?

For who has stood in the counsel of the LORD, and has perceived and heard his word? who has marked his word, and heard it?

For who has known the mind of the Lord? or who has been his counselor?

For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Know you not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved to judgment;

And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness to the judgment of the great day.
