For he knows vain men: he sees wickedness also; will he not then consider it?

Though it be given him to be in safety, where on he rests; yet his eyes are on their ways.

For he looks to the ends of the earth, and sees under the whole heaven;

Does not he see my ways, and count all my steps?

He has said in his heart, God has forgotten: he hides his face; he will never see it.

You have seen it; for you behold mischief and spite, to requite it with your hand: the poor commits himself to you; you are the helper of the fatherless.

The LORD looks from heaven; he beholds all the sons of men.

This you have seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.

The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

If you see the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regards; and there be higher than they.

And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.

You are of purer eyes than to behold evil, and can not look on iniquity: why look you on them that deal treacherously, and hold your tongue when the wicked devours the man that is more righteous than he?

Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened to the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searches the reins and hearts: and I will give to every one of you according to your works.
