And the LORD said to Satan, Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that fears God, and eschews evil?

And like to him was there no king before him, that turned to the LORD with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him.

Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.

And the LORD said to Satan, Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that fears God, and eschews evil? and still he holds fast his integrity, although you moved me against him, to destroy him without cause.

If he set his heart on man, if he gather to himself his spirit and his breath;

Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:

I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from my iniquity.

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

The transgression of the wicked said within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.

Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for ever more.

For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:

The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogance, and the evil way, and the fraudulent mouth, do I hate.

Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes; cease to do evil;

Behold my servant, whom I uphold; my elect, in whom my soul delights; I have put my spirit on him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

And the man said to me, Son of man, behold with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your heart on all that I shall show you; for to the intent that I might show them to you are you brought here: declare all that you see to the house of Israel.

(Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were on the face of the earth.)

Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and said of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!

Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, you, and all this people, to the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.

Only be you strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded you: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.
