I also could speak as you do: if your soul were in my soul's stead, I could heap up words against you, and shake my head at you.

Therefore, you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus said the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about;

This shall they have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the LORD of hosts.

I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.

In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are you come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and you laid no hold on me.

Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left.

For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you again.
