And the burden of the LORD shall you mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for you have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.

It may be the LORD your God will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master has sent to reproach the living God; and will reprove the words which the LORD your God has heard: why lift up your prayer for the remnant that are left.

The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaks proud things:

What shall be given to you? or what shall be done to you, you false tongue?

To execute on them the judgment written: this honor have all his saints. Praise you the LORD.

So they shall make their own tongue to fall on themselves: all that see them shall flee away.

He that has a fraudulent heart finds no good: and he that has a perverse tongue falls into mischief.

Now therefore be you not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined on the whole earth.

For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.

But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

Thus shall you say to the prophet, What has the LORD answered you? and, What has the LORD spoken?

Your prophets have seen vain and foolish things for you: and they have not discovered your iniquity, to turn away your captivity; but have seen for you false burdens and causes of banishment.

But I say to you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

And he said to him, Out of your own mouth will I judge you, you wicked servant. You knew that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:

And saying, Sirs, why do you these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach to you that you should turn from these vanities to the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:

For every man shall bear his own burden.

For who is there of all flesh, that has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the middle of the fire, as we have, and lived?

For they themselves show of us what manner of entering in we had to you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;

As also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, to their own destruction.

And David spoke to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that kills this Philistine, and takes away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?

Your servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.
