But you, Israel, are my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.

O you seed of Israel his servant, you children of Jacob, his chosen ones.

Are not you our God, who did drive out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel, and gave it to the seed of Abraham your friend for ever?

O you seed of Abraham his servant, you children of Jacob his chosen.

For the LORD has chosen Jacob to himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.

And gave their land for an heritage: for his mercy endures for ever:

Even an heritage to Israel his servant: for his mercy endures for ever.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.

For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall join to the house of Jacob.

Therefore thus said the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale.

Behold my servant, whom I uphold; my elect, in whom my soul delights; I have put my spirit on him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD's servant?

But now thus said the LORD that created you, O Jacob, and he that formed you, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name; you are mine.

You are my witnesses, said the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that you may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

Fear not: for I am with you: I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west;

Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for you are my servant: I have formed you; you are my servant: O Israel, you shall not be forgotten of me.

For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel my elect, I have even called you by your name: I have surnamed you, though you have not known me.

Listen to me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.

And said to me, You are my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah that bore you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.

Doubtless you are our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: you, O LORD, are our father, our redeemer; your name is from everlasting.

Consider you not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD has chosen, he has even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.

For they are my servants, which I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: they shall not be sold as slaves.

I have loved you, said the LORD. Yet you say, Wherein have you loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? said the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,

And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say to you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children to Abraham.

Why then serves the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

Only the LORD had a delight in your fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.

For you are an holy people to the LORD your God, and the LORD has chosen you to be a peculiar people to himself, above all the nations that are on the earth.

And the scripture was fulfilled which said, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed to him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
