Now consider how great this man was, to whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.

And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing:

And blessed be the most high God, which has delivered your enemies into your hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

Men and brothers, let me freely speak to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us to this day.
