For both he that sanctifies and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brothers,

But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

For by one offering he has perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: why God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he has prepared for them a city.

Why Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

For as much then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Why, holy brothers, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
