Mark you well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that you may tell it to the generation following.

And Pharaoh turned and went into his house, neither did he set his heart to this also.

And he that regarded not the word of the LORD left his servants and his cattle in the field.

Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.

Because he considers, and turns away from all his transgressions that he has committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

And the man said to me, Son of man, behold with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your heart on all that I shall show you; for to the intent that I might show them to you are you brought here: declare all that you see to the house of Israel.

Then said he to me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that you did set your heart to understand, and to chasten yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I am come for your words.

Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he labored till the going down of the sun to deliver him.

Is it time for you, O you, to dwell in your paneled houses, and this house lie waste?

You have sown much, and bring in little; you eat, but you have not enough; you drink, but you are not filled with drink; you clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earns wages earns wages to put it into a bag with holes.

Thus said the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.

And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

Examine yourselves, whether you be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know you not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except you be reprobates?

But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
