And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do to them; and he did it not.

For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore you sons of Jacob are not consumed.

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed to the day of redemption.

O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he sees that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.

O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

Why I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do always err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.

But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no ficklenss, neither shadow of turning.

It repents me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and has not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried to the LORD all night.

And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.

And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the LORD repented that he had made Saul king over Israel.
