And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.

And Abraham ran to the herd, and fetched a calf tender and good, and gave it to a young man; and he hurried to dress it.

And they said to him, Where is Sarah your wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.

Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land.

Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he comes shall find watching: truly I say to you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

And will not rather say to him, Make ready with which I may sup, and gird yourself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward you shall eat and drink?

And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and broke, and gave to them.

And he took it, and did eat before them.

There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.

Not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen before God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

For, brothers, you have been called to liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Butter of cows, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and you did drink the pure blood of the grape.
