The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which engenders to bondage, which is Agar.

But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir to them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.

For you are not come to the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor to blackness, and darkness, and tempest,

The mountains melted from before the LORD, even that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel.
