The time is come, the day draws near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is on all the multitude thereof.

It is naught, it is naught, said the buyer: but when he is gone his way, then he boasts.

The watchman said, The morning comes, and also the night: if you will inquire, inquire you: return, come.

Tell them therefore, Thus said the Lord GOD; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say to them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.

For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.

Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod has blossomed, pride has budded.

Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hastens greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.
