And you shall make an hanging for the door of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, worked with needlework.

And you shall put them into one basket, and bring them in the basket, with the bullock and the two rams.

And you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.

And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.

When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near to the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.

Then will I sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

When the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy place into the utter court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they are holy; and shall put on other garments, and shall approach to those things which are for the people.

And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days.

And you shall bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and you shall gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together:

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

But it shall be, when evening comes on, he shall wash himself with water: and when the sun is down, he shall come into the camp again.

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

The like figure whereunto even baptism does also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
