Yes, you overwhelm the fatherless, and you dig a pit for your friend.

The LORD preserves the strangers; he relieves the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turns upside down.

I am the LORD your God, which have brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

Also you shall not oppress a stranger: for you know the heart of a stranger, seeing you were strangers in the land of Egypt.

Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

Thus said the LORD; Execute you judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place.

If you oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:

In you have they set light by father and mother: in the middle of you have they dealt by oppression with the stranger: in you have they vexed the fatherless and the widow.

You shall not defraud your neighbor, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with you all night until the morning.

And if a stranger sojourn with you in your land, you shall not vex him.

But the stranger that dwells with you shall be to you as one born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

And if your brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with you; then you shall relieve him: yes, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with you.

And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, said the LORD of hosts.

And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brothers, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.

He does execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loves the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.

Love you therefore the stranger: for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.

And you shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the LORD your God redeemed you: therefore I command you this thing to day.

He shall dwell with you, even among you, in that place which he shall choose in one of your gates, where it likes him best: you shall not oppress him.

You shall not abhor an Edomite; for he is your brother: you shall not abhor an Egyptian; because you were a stranger in his land.

You shall not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow's raiment to pledge:

Cursed be he that perverts the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.
