(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? Eph 4:10: He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men built.

My substance was not hid from you, when I was made in secret, and curiously worked in the lowest parts of the earth.

Jesus said to her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brothers, and say to them, I ascend to my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

And no man has ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

For the bread of God is he which comes down from heaven, and gives life to the world.

For I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me.

The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eats of this bread shall live for ever.

What and if you shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?

Jesus answered and said to them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know from where I came, and where I go; but you cannot tell from where I come, and where I go.

You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honor, and did set him over the works of your hands:

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
