And it came to pass, that, when I was come again to Jerusalem, even while I prayed in the temple, I was in a trance;

And he said to me, Depart: for I will send you far hence to the Gentiles.

And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him, let us not fight against God.

For I would not, brothers, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.

Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.

For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world has been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

And for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

With praying also for us, that God would open to us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

And I beseech you, brothers, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter to you in few words.

By Silvanus, a faithful brother to you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein you stand.

And account that the long-suffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given to him has written to you;
