Give therefore your servant an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this your so great a people?

Brothers, be not children in understanding: however, in malice be you children, but in understanding be men.

If I whet my glittering sword, and my hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to my enemies, and will reward them that hate me.

Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraides not; and it shall be given him.
