And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice to Daniel: and the king spoke and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is your God, whom you serve continually, able to deliver you from the lions?

Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.

I have inclined my heart to perform your statutes always, even to the end.

While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises to my God while I have any being.

Nevertheless I am continually with you: you have held me by my right hand.

Ah Lord GOD! behold, you have made the heaven and the earth by your great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for you:

Now if you be ready that at what time you hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of music, you fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if you worship not, you shall be cast the same hour into the middle of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?

If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.

Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spoke and said to Daniel, Your God whom you serve continually, he will deliver you.

Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste to the den of lions.

I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and steadfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even to the end.

He delivers and rescues, and he works signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

Therefore turn you to your God: keep mercy and judgment and wait on your God continually.

And the LORD said to Moses, Is the LORD's hand waxed short? you shall see now whether my word shall come to pass to you or not.

For with God nothing shall be impossible.

And he spoke a parable to them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life:

Who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed to him against that day.

Why he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come to God by him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them.

But whoever looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Now to him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
