The angel of the LORD encamps round about them that fear him, and delivers them.

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on me; because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings to the meek; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it.

And there appeared to him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.

And, see, the angel of the Lord came on them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying to him, Cornelius.

And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.

And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,

And the angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south to the way that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza, which is desert.
