And Peter, fastening his eyes on him with John, said, Look on us.

And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

Jesus said to her, Said I not to you, that, if you would believe, you should see the glory of God?

When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he said to him, Will you be made whole?

And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said to him, Your prayers and your alms are come up for a memorial before God.

On the which when I had fastened my eyes, I considered, and saw four footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.

And when Peter saw it, he answered to the people, You men of Israel, why marvel you at this? or why look you so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

And he gave heed to them, expecting to receive something of them.
