Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.

They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation.

That you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the middle of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom you shine as lights in the world;

As you know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father does his children,

Take heed to yourself, and to the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this you shall both save yourself, and them that hear you.
