And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him to them, and expounded to him the way of God more perfectly.

A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain to wise counsels:

As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover on an obedient ear.

Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.

Cry aloud, spare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

Truly I say to you, Whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.

For I say to you, That to every one which has shall be given; and from him that has not, even that he has shall be taken away from him.

Long time therefore stayed they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony to the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while, and then took his leave of the brothers, and sailed there into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.

This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spoke and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.

And he went into the synagogue, and spoke boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.

And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.

And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of you: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

And if any man think that he knows any thing, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know.

Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on to perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
