And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said to him, Your prayers and your alms are come up for a memorial before God.

In those days Hezekiah was sick to the death, and prayed to the LORD: and he spoke to him, and he gave him a sign.

Then hear you from the heavens, even from your dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calls to you for; that all people of the earth may know your name, and fear you, as does your people Israel, and may know that this house which I have built is called by your name.

Let my prayer be set forth before you as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

Remember all your offerings, and accept your burnt sacrifice; Selah.

Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare you, that you may be justified.

I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not to the seed of Jacob, Seek you me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

And he said to me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright: for to you am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood trembling.

And he shall bring it to Aaron's sons the priests: and he shall take out of there his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn the memorial of it on the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet smell to the LORD:

Then they that feared the LORD spoke often one to another: and the LORD listened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought on his name.

Truly I say to you, Wherever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman has done, be told for a memorial of her.

And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said to them, Why seek you the living among the dead?

And said, Cornelius, your prayer is heard, and your alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.

The same heard Paul speak: who steadfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,

And I said, What shall I do, LORD? And the Lord said to me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told you of all things which are appointed for you to do.

And Peter, fastening his eyes on him with John, said, Look on us.

But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odor of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well pleasing to God.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which you have showed toward his name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.

And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for your servant hears.
