Which also said, You men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven.

Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said to them, Why seek you the living among the dead?

And when Peter saw it, he answered to the people, You men of Israel, why marvel you at this? or why look you so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

And they were all amazed and marveled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

And he denied it again. And a little after, they that stood by said again to Peter, Surely you are one of them: for you are a Galilaean, and your speech agrees thereto.

Truly I say to you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

So then after the Lord had spoken to them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments to the apostles whom he had chosen:

And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

Beginning from the baptism of John, to that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.

Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and to them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin to salvation.
