Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.

And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?

And in those days Peter stood up in the middle of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good to all men, especially to them who are of the household of faith.

And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Why, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he does, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither does he himself receive the brothers, and forbids them that would, and casts them out of the church.

For I rejoiced greatly, when the brothers came and testified of the truth that is in you, even as you walk in the truth.
