When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

O God, you are terrible out of your holy places: the God of Israel is he that gives strength and power to his people. Blessed be God.

God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.

The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

This people have I formed for myself; they shall show forth my praise.

Sing, O you heavens; for the LORD has done it: shout, you lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, you mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD has redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.

And said to me, You are my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

Your people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honor before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do to them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure to it.

And they shall be mine, said the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spares his own son that serves him.

Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What has God worked!

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Truly I say to you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit on the throne of his glory:

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works?

But I say to you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.

When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not to death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.

And all my are yours, and your are mine; and I am glorified in them.

Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:

Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of his glory.

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he has made us accepted in the beloved.

That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

To the intent that now to the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

For our gospel came not to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as you know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

For yourselves, brothers, know our entrance in to you, that it was not in vain:

That you would walk worthy of God, who has called you to his kingdom and glory.

For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when you received the word of God which you heard of us, you received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually works also in you that believe.

That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brothers beloved of the Lord, because God has from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached to the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed to him against that day.

The Lord grant to him that he may find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how many things he ministered to me at Ephesus, you know very well.

From now on there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but to all them also that love his appearing.

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;
